If Iran has laid mines in The Strait of Hormuz and will not remove them immediately, the military consequences for him will be at a level never seen before. This was stated on the Truth Social network by US President Donald Trump.
"If Iran has laid any mines in The Strait of Hormuz and we have no reports about it, we want them removed immediately! If for any reason the mines were installed and they are not removed immediately, the military consequences for Iran will be at a level never seen before. If they remove what could have been posted, it will be a huge step in the right direction!" writes Trump, quoted by The Guardian.
According to CNN, only a few dozen mines have been installed so far, but Tehran still controls most of its small boats and minelayers, which means that it can place hundreds more in the water area.
As EADaily reported, US intelligence received data that Iran had begun mining the Strait of Hormuz, CBS reported.
