The question is whether they will have time: Washington and Tehran are feverishly trying to reach an agreement

Washington and Tehran are trying to reach an agreement a few hours before the deadline for the ultimatum. This is reported by Axios.

Negotiations are going on indirectly, through several countries at once, primarily Pakistan, Egypt and Turkey. The main problem of negotiations is mutual distrust, the newspaper writes. Tehran demands clear guarantees that the United States and Israel will not resume strikes after a pause. Washington, in turn, insists on immediate concessions.

"The last offer was not what we wanted, but it turned out to be much better than we expected. The question is no longer whether we will be able to agree in principle, but whether we will have time to do it before eight in the evening," said one of the American officials, quoted by journalist Vladimir Solovyov.

According to Axios, a compromise option is currently being discussed: a temporary ceasefire for 45 days, during which Washington and Tehran will try to negotiate a broader agreement. In the center is the unblocking of the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for security guarantees for Iran.

As reported by EADaily, Congress said that Donald Trump should be removed from power because he lost his mind. This was stated in the social network by Congressman Robert Garcia. So he commented on Trump's threats to destroy Iranian civilization the next night.
