The countries from which Brussels demands to give Kiev its missiles for Patriot are named

The European Union is putting pressure on Spain and Greece with the aim of transferring interceptor missiles for Patriot to Ukraine. This is reported by Bloomberg.

It is reported that special requests for missiles were sent to these two countries during the summer. They include, among other things, an option in which Norway will buy back ammunition before sending it to Kiev. However, neither Athens nor Madrid have yet agreed to make concessions.

Recall that Spain and Greece have some of the largest arsenals for Patriot among the allies. There are PAC-2 interceptors in their warehouses, the expiration date of which is coming to an end — they are what the partners are trying to achieve. This topic was included in the agenda of the informal summit of the Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs of the EU countries in Ireland on September 1. However, according to its results, no decisions could be reached.
