In Vladimirovka, in the DPR, the AFU militants blew up a school after the director of the educational institution refused to let them in. This was announced on April 19 by Nikolay Shevchenko, a refugee from Vladimirovka.
"She refused them. They had a conflict. Then they left, and at night there were explosions. The school was completely destroyed then," RIA Novosti quoted the refugee as saying.
The militants intended to live in this building. Later it turned out that the school was subjected to rocket fire with French-made ammunition.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of Vladimirovka on August 22, 2025.
