In the Rada, Ukrainians are recommended to buy firewood and leave Kiev. This was stated by a member of the parliamentary Committee on National Security, Solomiya Bobrovskaya.
She noted that the authorities should honestly warn the population about possible problems in winter.
"Ukrainians need to tell the truth about the winter, and not feed them with promises. Get ready, stock up, get out of Kiev, buy firewood," Bobrovskaya said.
As EADaily reported, only the rich can afford to leave the cities for the winter. This was stated by the head of the Union of Consumers of Utilities of Ukraine Oleg Popenko.
So he commented on the frequent corresponding appeals to residents of Ukrainian cities.
