A passenger plane flying to St. Petersburg landed at Helsinki-Vantaa airport. It is reported by Yle with reference to the Coast Guard of the Gulf of Finland.

The plane had to change its route because of the Ukrainian UAV attack on St. Petersburg.

"A passenger plane heading to St. Petersburg, landed at Helsinki Airport in the morning, while St. Petersburg airport was closed. The Coast Guard, in cooperation with the police, ensured the security of the border," the statement published on the social network X said.

It is noted that in the morning the plane continued its flight and left the airspace of Finland.

What kind of plane it was is not specified.

As EADaily reported this morning, the number of drones destroyed over the territory of the Leningrad region reached 141. This was reported by Governor Alexander Drozdenko.
