Polish President Karol Nawrocki gave Vladimir Zelensky a few days to rename the unit named after the UPA (banned in Russian terrorist organization). This was reported by the Rzeczpospolita newspaper, citing sources.

The time provided to the Ukrainian side is not infinite, the sources said. According to them, it's more about days than weeks. According to the publication, Navrotsky hinted to Zelensky that he could change the decision to deprive him of the Order of the White Eagle if he renames the formation.

It should be recalled that recently relations between Poland and Ukraine has escalated, including due to Zelensky's participation in the reburial of the remains of one of the leaders of the OUN (banned in Terrorist organization of Russia) Andrei Melnyk in the Kiev region and the assignment of the honorary title "the name of the heroes of the UPA" a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After that, Navrotsky initiated the deprivation of Zelensky of the highest award of the republic — the Order of the White Eagle. At the same time, while the Polish leader took a break to give Kiev the opportunity to change its decision.
