A new anti-drone tactic is gaining momentum in Russia. We are talking about mobile firing groups (MOG) equipped with interceptor drones. Details are provided by the <url> portal.
According to military expert Yuri Knutov, this method is recognized as one of the most effective and economical. Unlike expensive missile systems, interceptors allow you to hit low-altitude targets with minimal cost.
The most important role is played by the timely detection of enemy vehicles. To do this, it is proposed to use balloons with radar equipment that are capable of detecting targets at long-range approaches and promptly transmitting coordinates to groups. Combined with mobility and reaction speed, such a system creates a reliable line of defense against air threats.
EADaily previously also informed that the new Krona—E air defense system from Kalashnikov will be protected from drones.
