Spanish schoolgirl Lucia from Oviedo, who had previously written a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, received a gift from him. She showed the autographed photo of the head of state to the RIA Novosti portal.
"I would really like to meet him. Since childhood, I have loved Russia, its people and its president," Lucia admitted.
She added that meeting with Putin is her "big dream."
Together with the signed portrait, the schoolgirl received two ribbons as a gift — St. George's and in the colors of the Russian tricolor.
In July last year, the girl sent a letter to the President of Russia, in which she told about her love for our country, and also expressed her desire to represent the Russian Federation at international forums in the future.
In June of this year, Russian Ambassador to Spain Yuri Klimenko received the schoolgirl's family in the building of the Russian diplomatic mission in Madrid and assured that her message had been sent to the addressee.
