Unfriendly states that have been pursuing a long-standing anti-Russian policy have begun to show an active interest in restoring economic ties with Primorsky Krai.
This was reported on Thursday, July 2 by RIA Novosti, referring to the statement of the acting representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Vladivostok, Yevgeny Volosastov.
He clarified that attempts by unfriendly countries to restore ties with Primorye have been observed over the past year. The diplomat stated that these states have become hostages of anti-Russian policy.
For four years, their citizens have been told horrors about Russia, and now they have to explain why it's all a lie, the source said.
"The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has already spoken about this. We did not destroy these ties, and it is not for us to restore them. We are ready to talk, but no one will beg anyone," Volosastov concluded.
Earlier, the head of the European Council, Antonio Costa, said that the European Union should establish direct contact with Moscow in order to be able to listen to the Russian side.
As reported by EADaily, on the eve of the head of the French left-wing party "Unruly France" Jean-Luc Melenchon said that the Fifth Republic should withdraw from NATO and start a dialogue with Moscow to put an end to the Ukrainian conflict.
