The Russian army has returned to Naftogaz: strikes for the third day in a row, the download does not fall

After a powerful nighttime retaliatory strike on Kiev, the Russian army resumed attacks on Naftogaz's production facilities. The strikes continue for the third day.

"After the combined night attack on the capital, the Russians have been massively hitting the gas production facilities of the Naftogaz group in the Kharkiv region since the morning," Naftogaz reports.

According to him, as a result of the impact, a fire broke out at one of the facilities.

"After a while, the Russians struck again, trying to inflict even greater destruction. Enemy shelling continues, the staff is in hiding. An assessment of the consequences will be made after the end of the air alert in the region. The work of the attacked facility has been stopped," the national company said.

Retaliatory strikes on Naftogaz's facilities have been going on for the third day. On the eve of the national company reported damage to gas production in Poltava, Kharkiv and Sumy regions. There were drone strikes on them.

"Large-scale fires have occurred at a number of facilities, significant damage has been recorded. The operation of a part of the equipment has been suspended," Naftogaz added.

At the same time, according to the European monitoring Association GIE, gas injection into Ukrainian storage facilities remains high — 38.5 million cubic meters per day on July 4. Before the active retaliatory strikes of the Russian army since last year, the average production at Ukraine was approximately 50 million cubic meters per day.

At the same time, UGS reserves have already grown to 12.5 billion cubic meters and are close to 13 billion cubic meters, which the government of Ukraine has determined as minimal by the beginning of the heating season.

On July 1, Ukrainian companies stopped importing gas and, judging by the data of the Ukrainian GTS Operator, they never resumed it. Supplies are coming, but they amount to no more than 2 million cubic meters per day.
