The head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said that the lack of information about the situation on the peninsula is due to the non-publicity of the measures. At the same time, the situation with fuel and electricity will not change yet.

"I want to clarify the situation inside the Republic of Crimea in connection with the supply of fuel and the state of the energy sector: a certain lack of information on these issues is due to the fact that, unfortunately, most of the decisions that are being taken today to get out of the current crisis cannot be voiced in the public field. I ask you to treat this with understanding," the head of Crimea said in a video message.

According to him, the situation with fuel supplies remains tense and will remain for some time.

"There will be no fuel for free sale on certain days. Together with the federal center, we keep this problem under control and are working on its solution, which I regularly report to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The head of state is aware of the existing difficulties and always supports us," Sergey Aksenov continued.

Also, he does not promise to improve the situation with energy supply in the near future.

"There will be no exact schedules for the supply of electricity, the problem with the supply of electricity remains. At the same time, all possible efforts are also being made in this direction. All Crimean authorities are in their places and work around the clock," the head of Crimea added.

A little later, he said that he had discussed the work of the fuel and energy complex of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev and Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev: "It is important that the main solutions have already been found, now we are talking about specific deadlines and details of their implementation. We have agreed on how we will proceed step by step."

As EADaily reported, in May and June, the Ukrainian Armed Forces intensified attacks on Crimean power facilities and fuel delivery to the peninsula. As a result, the peninsula is experiencing a shortage of fuel and There are power outages in Crimea, which has already led to a drop in the flow of tourists.
