The German intelligence service warns about the radicalization of young people, the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung reports.
The Bavarian branch of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Germany stated that since the spring of 2024, "Active Clubs" are being created in the regions of Germany to teach martial arts, their key goal is to involve young men in the far—right political spectrum and "prepare them for the alleged coming racial war."
The agency claims that it has established the connection of "active clubs" with right-wing extremist political parties. It is alleged that the "roadmap" for the creation of a network of "active clubs" in Germany was drawn up by one of the leaders of the Bavarian branch of the ultra-right party Die Heimat ("Homeland") Patrick Schroeder.
According to the newspaper, data on 22 such "active clubs" across the country can now be found on thematic online platforms.
