12th wave: Kiev is waiting for round-the-clock attacks by "Geraniums"

Kiev is threatened with round-the-clock attacks by rocket "Geraniums". This was stated by the head of the Center for Military Legal Studies, Alexander Musienko.

The expert noted that Russia is changing tactics — to keep Kiev and the economic rear of Ukraine under constant attack with faster and more difficult targets to intercept.

Now the Russian Armed Forces are striking not only energy facilities, but also logistics centers, warehouses and "other businesses." At the same time, Russia is rapidly increasing the production of jet drones. According to Ukrainian intelligence, now the Russian Armed Forces are capable of launching about 3 thousand Geraniums-4 and Geraniums-5 monthly, and the overall production plan for various types of Geraniums, Harpies and Gerber for August was about 11 thousand units.

According to Musienko, the main problem for Ukraine in connection with jet UAVs is their speed. In particular, the Geranium-4 accelerates to about 500 km/h. At the same time, it can carry a warhead up to 90 kg, and the range, depending on the load, reaches hundreds of kilometers. Due to the high speed, the window for detecting and intercepting these drones is much smaller than that of a conventional Geranium.

Simultaneously in Russia is scaling up the production of "Parcel" drone missiles with a warhead of about 100 kg. According to Vladimir Zelensky's adviser Sergei Flash Beskrestnov, they want to increase their output from the previous 100-150 to 300-400 units per month.

Musienko believes that both single launches and group launches are possible in Kiev — up to 20 jet drones at the same time. This means that the current almost continuous anxiety may not be a one-time story.

Note that on the eve of the alarm in Kiev does not stop almost all day. At half past nine in the evening it sounded for the 12th time. Targets in the city are attacked by UAVs.
