The EU has begun to take a more serious approach to resolving the Ukrainian crisis, but it is still far from adequate. This was announced today, October 21, by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

According to him, US representatives at the Oslo talks "felt new nuances" in the behavior of Europeans, but they do not completely satisfy Russia. However, you should not scold them for this:

"I wouldn't scold them. At least, it seems to me, they have begun to think and take a more serious approach to solving this crisis."

As EADaily reported, before the special representative of the US President Stephen Witkoff arrived for today's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, he held talks with the Ukrainian delegation led by Vladimir Zelensky in the Norwegian capital. On behalf of the EU, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gare Stere and Finnish President Alexander Stubb participated in them.
