Defense Ministers The EU has made no progress in finding Patriot missiles for Kiev. This was stated at a press conference following an informal meeting at the Druid Hollow resort in Ireland by the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Callas.

The case was limited to appeals and conversations, she noted, promising that they would continue.

This is how she answered the question of whether the defense ministers found air defense missiles for Ukraine.

"On Patriot missiles: no, we have not reached any concrete decisions today. But there have been calls and talks about these missiles, and they will continue. Unfortunately, no success today. We have heard from the Ukrainian Defense Minister that the main priority is missiles for air defense. But air defense missiles are now in short supply everywhere," Callas said, quoted by TASS.

She thanked the EU countries "who once again looked at their stocks."

According to the head of the European Diplomacy, countries that still have small stocks of missiles for the Patriot air defense system, the shelf life of which is ending, "should send them to Ukraine".

"We know that in some countries there are interceptors that will soon expire. It would be very good if they were handed over to Ukraine so that it could use them for protection," Kallas said.

We are talking, in particular, about Greece, which has its own inviolable stock of air defense missiles in case of a conflict with Turkey, also a member of NATO.
