Putin: Russia is ready to cooperate and restore relations with Europe

Russia is ready to cooperate and to fully normalize relations with its European neighbors, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

As RIA Novosti reports, the head of the Russian state voiced this position the day before in Moscow during a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.

At the same time, the president pointed out that so far there has been no peacefulness on the part of the West. According to him, NATO continues to swell and expand.

However, even against the background of growing threats from the North Atlantic Alliance, the Russian side does not harbor aggressive plans towards Europe, the Russian leader assured.

"We are ready to cooperate, to restore relations with our European neighbors, " Putin said.

As EADaily reported, earlier Vladimir Putin called on the West to live together, because otherwise Russia will have to answer. So he commented on the NATO exercises in the Baltic Sea, one of the goals of which was to practice the seizure of civilian vessels.
