The status of the Donetsk People’s Republic should be discussed at a negotiating table after the Minsk agreements are fulfilled, Denis Pushilin, DPR authorized representative in Minsk, said at a roundtable discussion in Rostov-on-Don today, on February 26.
“The set of measures for the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements documents and expounds that algorithm. If it is possible during the implementation of all points of the Minsk agreements, it will be considered, and the issue will be regulated immediately after municipal elections, within Ukraine’s laws. There is an important adscript – coordination with representatives of our regions,” Pushilin said.
“First, we can coordinate it independently and within the interests of our citizens. It is a constitutional reform. If it a different country, it will have quite different constitution and it will be quite different state. Time will show if it is decentralization, what form it will have – autonomy or mass autonomy. Everything must be discussed at a negotiating table and without arms,” he said.
