Ukraine has expressed its protest against the visit of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Crimea.
According to Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry, the visit has shown that Russia openly ignores Ukraine’s sovereignty, the UN Charter and the international law.
Crimea and Sevastopol joined Russia as a result of a referendum held on Mar 16 2014. Ukraine regards those territories as “occupied.”
