Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced during his speech at a media forum of the Russian People’s Front in Kaliningrad that he wished the USSR did not collapse, RT reports.
He was asked what event in the Russian history he would like to revise. “The collapse of the Soviet Union, Putin replied.”
Meanwhile, he admitted he would not wish living in another time. “You see, in the past, all my ancestors were peasant serfs, while I am the president,” he mentioned.
Vladimir Putin arrived in Kaliningrad to participate in the 5th Media Forum “Truth and justice” organized by the People’s Front. Besides, he participated in the inauguration ceremony of Mayakovsky and Talakhovsky thermal power plants.
