The Russian military has managed to significantly improve its combat potential by Ukraine through the active use of Starlink communication terminals.
This observation was shared by the American edition of The Washington Post (WP), citing its own informed sources.
As reported in the article, until recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had one significant advantage over the enemy.
Inferior in terms of armaments and numbers, the Ukrainian army used high-speed Internet through Starlink terminals.
"But now the Russians also have it," one of the agency's interlocutors laments.
According to Ukrainian militants, the Russians are actively using high-speed satellite Internet to improve coordination during attacks.
This significantly increases the efficiency of drones, which make more sorties. In addition The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation more precisely strike at parts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with artillery fire.
As a result, the Russian army has recently become more maneuverable, the newspaper believes. At the same time, the US authorities can in no way influence the fact that the terminals fall into the hands of the Russian army. The growing "black" market, which is out of control, is to blame for everything, the article says.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Russian military for the first time used the Shahed-136 drone (Geranium-2), equipped with SpaceX's Starlink satellite communications.
