The corresponding appeal was sent to the Ministry of Justice of Russia by activists of the Forty Forty movement.
"The authors of the initiative claim that with such phrases Akhedzhakova defames the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation, therefore she should be deprived of it. In addition, she should be recognized as a foreign agent, since she shows her play "My Grandson Veniamin" exclusively abroad and makes political statements there," the publication says.
