The Russian Armed Forces are trying to occupy Velikaya Novoselka, it is possible that they have plans for the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was stated on the TV channel "We are Ukraine" by the head of the communications department of the 48th separate artillery brigade Bogdan Petrenko.
"We understand that this is a huge node, which opens up opportunities for them to further attack in several directions. We are talking about both the direction to the north of the Donetsk region (DPR. — EADaily) towards Pokrovsk, and in the direction of the west — the Zaporozhye region. It is possible that the Russians have in their plans an event in Dnipropetrovsk region — in order to put pressure on Ukraine or the seizure of the country as a whole," said Petrenko, quoted by Strana.
As EADaily reported, the Russian command plans to create bridgeheads near five regional centers of Ukraine in the fall and destroy them. This was stated by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya.
According to her, we are talking about Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Kherson and Sumy.
