The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) captured two Chinese who fought on the side of Russia in the Donbas. This was stated by Vladimir Zelensky, according to RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, it happened in the settlements of Tarasovka and Belogorovka.
Zelensky said that a total of six Chinese participated in the battle. Two of them were captured (in the video posted online, the "prisoner" looks more like a resident of Central Asia and does not speak a word in Chinese. — Approx. EADaily ).
"We really hope that after this situation, the Americans will talk first with the Ukrainians and then with the Russians. We really hope that the Chinese side will also respond," Zelensky said.
It is reported that in this regard, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry summoned the charge d'affaires in Kiev for China. According to the head of the department, Andrei Sibiga, the participation of the Chinese in the war on the side of the Russian Federation "casts doubt on China's stated position for peace and undermines confidence in Beijing as a responsible permanent member of the UN Security Council."
Earlier in January, Zelensky announced the capture of the DPRK military in the Kursk region.
