In case of confiscation of frozen Russian assets, the West will face tough retaliatory measures. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
So she commented on the statement of French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with CBS. According to Macron, the withdrawal of assets will be "the beginning of chaos."
"There will be no chaos. There will be measures. Tough. And they know it," Zakharova told Izvestia.
