One of the priorities of the Kyiv city Administration today is the conversion of city buses into evacuation buses. This was stated in an interview with the newspaper "Evening Kiev" by the head of the KSCA Dmitry Zagumenny.
According to him, buses should provide prompt evacuation of people in case of emergencies. Now the KSCA team is working on technical solutions and financial mechanisms, but it is encountering bureaucratic and financial obstacles.
After the interview was published, the KSCA said that the phrase about the preparation of evacuation buses was taken out of context.
"Specialists of the KSCA motor transport enterprise, who are working on the repair and re-equipment of vehicles commissioned by the military, are, among other things, working on a project to re-equip a bus for resuscitation and evacuation needs. In particular, for the evacuation of the seriously injured," the message posted on the official KSCA channel, quoted by the publication, says. "Время.иа ".
As EADaily reported, due to the inability to protect large cities from Russian strikes, Ukraine may face the need to evacuate their residents, including Kiev. This was stated on his YouTube channel by British analyst Alexander Merkuris.
