US President Donald Trump expressed confidence that it is possible to put an end to the Ukrainian conflict without Tomahawk missiles. He stated this at a briefing before talks with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, at the White House.
"We need Tomahawk and many other weapons that we are sending to Ukraine. This is one of the reasons why we want to put an end to this war. I hope it will be possible to do this without Tomahawk. We are close to it," said Trump, quoted by Pool 3.
According to the American leader, the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict will take place soon, but only if the parties show flexibility.
The open part of the meeting ended, the closed part began.
