The drone that fell in Estonia in August turned out to be Ukrainian, the case is closed. This is reported by ERR with reference to the results of the examination.
It is noted that the investigation failed to determine the exact flight path of the UAV, as well as the reason why it flew into Estonia. It is assumed that the drone from the airspace of Russia got to Latvia, from where, moving in a straight line, entered the airspace of Estonia on the morning of August 24. There is no evidence that the drone was sent to the country intentionally.
In this regard, the police and the prosecutor's office closed the case.
It should be recalled that on the aforementioned days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, located next to Estonia.
