US President Donald Trump said that the Russian economy is in a difficult situation, without providing evidence of his opinion.
"Their economy is in a bad way, in a very bad way," Trump told Politico.
Russia has repeatedly stated that the country will cope with the sanctions pressure that the West began to exert on it several years ago and continues to strengthen. Moscow noted that the West lacks the courage to admit the failure of sanctions against the Russian Federation. In the Western countries themselves, opinions have been voiced more than once that anti-Russian sanctions are ineffective.
