If Turkey supports Iran, Israel may attack it. This was stated by the former Prime Minister of the Jewish state Naftali Bennett, Bloomberg reports.
"We must be sure that no one will create a new radical Islamist alliance. I hope that Turkey will not escalate the situation related to terrorism and radical Islam. It depends on Turkey. We will not sit idly by if they try to surround us with terror," Bennett said.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran, attacking the country's largest cities, including Tehran. The White House justified its actions by the threat of missile and nuclear developments that allegedly emanated from Tehran.
In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a large-scale counterattack against Israel. In addition, strikes were carried out on American facilities in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
As a result of attacks in Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other high-ranking representatives of the country's leadership were killed in Iran.
