The leader of the Democratic minority in the US House of Representatives, Hakim Jeffries, called for a change in the political regime in America. He stated this today, March 22.
"We need regime change in America," Jeffries wrote on the social network X.
In his opinion, regime change is necessary in connection with the actions of US President Donald Trump and "radical Republicans." Because the current administration has dragged the country into a "reckless war" in the Middle East, which has led to higher gasoline prices and made the US less safe.
Jeffries has repeatedly called Trump's military actions against Iran a "reckless war of choice." He claimed that the administration is spending billions of dollars on bombing, while "can't find a single cent" to make health care or housing more affordable for Americans.
As EADaily reported, during the three weeks of the war against Iran, the United States spent more than $ 27 billion. The Pentagon has already asked the White House to approve additional funding from Congress in the amount of more than $ 200 billion. This is 67 billion more than the George W. Bush administration wanted 23 years ago in the war with Iraq.
