The key role in blocking the ports of Ukraine was played by the new Russian rocket "Banderol". It is reported by the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.

It is noted that after the start of mass production of "Parcels" at the end of July, Russia sharply increased attacks on the Ukrainian Black Sea ports — Odessa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny. Missiles developing speeds of up to 640 km/ h and carrying a warhead weighing about 114 kg are launched, including from the Crimea.

In Chernomorsk and Telegraph journalists in Odessa were greeted by almost empty ports. And although formally they remain open, commercial shipping has largely stopped.

"These missiles have become part of Vladimir Putin's strategy to stifle Ukraine's maritime trade, making passage through the waters near the ports of Odessa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny too dangerous for cargo ships," the authors write.

Ukrainian officials confirm that the increase in the number of attacks is associated precisely with the "Parcel", which has a higher speed than the UAV, carrying a powerful high-explosive fragmentation charge, creating an extensive damage zone.

From July 20 to August 20, an average of one vessel per day passed through the port of Odessa, compared to seven or eight previously, the head of the Ukrainian Association of Ports, Dmitry Barinov, told the newspaper.

According to The Telegraph, in the first half of August, Ukrainian grain exports fell by about 75% year-on-year.

As reported by EADaily, for strikes on targets on Russia is preparing 10,000 Dan-T missiles for Ukraine in 2027. This was reported by the Ukrainian portal Militaryi with reference to a Ukrainian military expert with the call sign Kriegsforscher.

According to the expert, since August, the Dan-T cruise missile can be launched from both ground and air platforms from Su-25SM3, Su-30SM, Su-34, Su-57 aircraft and Mi-28 helicopters. He noted that these missiles are difficult to intercept.
