A Ukrainian attack drone crashed into the pipe of an Estonian power plant. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking the Leningrad region, and obviously the drone flew into Estonia and made a "friendly" strike by mistake.
"A drone that went off course crashed into the chimney of a power plant in Auvere on Wednesday night," ERR reports, citing police.
According to her, the incident occurred on March 25 at 03.43 and the drone entered Estonian airspace from Russia.
"According to the information available at the moment, the drone was not aimed at Estonia. Initial actions are currently being carried out, the investigation will clarify more precise circumstances," said Prosecutor General Astrid Asi.
Enefit Power reported that the power plant was not directly damaged, and the incident will not have a significant impact on the Estonian power grid.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Russian ports in the Baltic. Primorsk was hit in the beginning, and Ust—Luga was hit this morning. The Kiev regime is trying to hit the export of oil and petroleum products from Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry said that 389 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight.
"It can be assumed that such incidents will be repeated," police Director General Margot Palloson told ERR.
