Russia is witnessing crisis phenomena in the North Atlantic bloc and the European Union, which are trying to impose them on the rest of the world. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a meeting with Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Nurlan Yermekbayev.
"We see crisis phenomena in The North Atlantic Alliance, and in The European Union," he said.
At the same time, Lavrov, describing the policy of Western countries towards non-Western associations, quoted Karandyshev's words from the film "Cruel Romance", based on Alexander Ostrovsky's play "The Dowerless."
"And our Western colleagues believe that since they have a crisis, it means that this crisis should be imposed on non-Western associations according to the principle, as, remember, in the "Cruel Romance" — "Don't get you to anyone!"" — said the Russian Foreign Minister.
"Multilateral diplomacy and multilateral construction of a new world," Lavrov said ironically, quoted by TASS.
