In Kiev, traffic will be stopped for a minute of silence every day at nine in the morning. This is reported by the city administration.
The movement will freeze for 60 seconds. The corresponding decision was made by Kyivrada. The idea was submitted by the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko.
"Every day at 09.00 during the nationwide minute of silence in Traffic will be stopped in Kiev for 60 seconds. Where it is technically possible, traffic lights will switch to the "all — red" mode. This decision should make the moment of silence in the capital really visible and turn it into a daily tradition of memory. These 60 seconds are not about inconvenience or delay on the way… The draft decision was developed on behalf of the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko in response to the appeal of the deputies of the city Council, who now serve in The Armed Forces of Ukraine," the KSCA telegram channel says.
As they said, at the first stage a new order will be introduced in the central part of the city. It is not specified when exactly he will start acting.
