Irish journalist Chay Bose called Sergey Lavrov's statement that the West had declared war on Russia ominous. He expressed his opinion on the social network X.

"At some point in our history, after the creation of the UN, the OSCE and after the disappearance of the Soviet Union, the prospects for coexistence and even cooperation with the West seemed very realistic to us.
