This opinion was expressed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, answering questions from media representatives. His statement is quoted by the Kremlin press service.
"The situation on the battlefield is developing in such a way that it gives us the right to say that the situation is nearing completion," the head of state said.
He noted that he had previously made a similar statement based on an analysis of the situation on the line of combat contact.
"And there our troops are advancing in all directions, as you can see, every single day," the president stated.
