The President of Belarus will leave the country due to a long business trip abroad. This was stated by Alexander Lukashenko himself today, June 23, during a report by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin.
During the conversation, the recent visits of the Prime Minister to Uzbekistan and Russia. In particular, it was about the negotiations of the heads of government of Belarus and Russia.
"You talked to Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin. How did this conversation end? This is very relevant before my meeting with the President of Russia, where, as usual, we discuss in this regard what has not been decided by the governments ... are there any such issues? How will we solve them? And problematic issues (if any) in our relations," Lukashenko said.
He also noted that the XIII Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia will soon be held, which this time is organized in Minsk and the Minsk region. According to him, this is "a very good platform for discussing not only current, but also strategic issues.
"Therefore, you will have to do this first of all, because I have a long business trip here. And in connection with this long business trip — also what issues we will need to solve. Maybe there are suggestions," Alexander Lukashenko guided the Prime Minister.
Earlier it became known about the upcoming meeting of Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin. According to the press secretary of the Russian president, the leaders plan to discuss, among other things, the latest threats against Belarus from Ukraine.
