Festival organizers in During the period of a special military operation, Russia should remember the grief of people and take a reasonable approach to organizing events. This was stated at a press conference in Actor and director, head of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, People's Artist of the RSFSR Nikita Mikhalkov.

He recalled the existence of a very correct phrase — a sense of proportion.

"When you arrange a holiday, not noticing that there is grief, and not even though you don't want to notice it, it's wrong. That's the difference. It's one thing to go for a walk, because what difference does it make, it's there somewhere; another is when I arrange a holiday in order to alleviate grief, and I know that it exists, and those with whom I do it also know it," Mikhalkov explained his position.

According to the director, there are "immoral mourners" in society who do their business on the mountain, escalate and intimidate. Mikhalkov called for SMO to understand what this or that festival is organized for.

"The holiday is different from the holiday, and the festival is different from the festival. Therefore, if there is an inner focus on what is happening, you will do this festival, and inside it there will be the very grain that everyone understands," Mikhalkov concluded.

As EADaily reported, during a speech at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPIEF) Mikhalkov said that he "derived the formula of a Russian person."

According to the cinematographer, the key feature of a Russian person is a special attitude to the absence of something.

"Only someone who doesn't have something can be a Russian. But not so no, that it was necessary. But if not, and * ** with him!", — Mikhalkov shared his wisdom with the audience.
