Gazprom reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked one of the compressor stations through which gas supplies to Turkey go. Meanwhile, Vladimir Zelensky is completing a visit to the NATO summit in the Turkish capital, where he is seeking additional arms supplies.

"On July 7, at 19:51, the Krasnodarskaya compressor station, involved in the Russian gas supply chain via the Blue Stream gas pipeline, was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles," Gazprom reports.

They noted that the attack was aimed at disrupting uninterrupted supplies of Russian gas to Turkey.

"Currently, the damage is being repaired. The measures taken promptly made it possible to avoid supply disruptions," the Russian company added.

Alexey Grivach, Deputy director of the FNEB, notes that the APU struck just in time for Zelensky's departure from Ankara.

"And it would be possible to detain a comrade for interrogation by the competent authorities of Turkey," the expert noted in the telegram channel.

Zelensky himself said that on July 8 he met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in the Turkish capital and talked with her about additional missiles for the air defense forces.
