According to IS "Vesti", at the time of the attack, journalists were working on another documentary story, the heroes of which were fighters of the 19th separate battalion of counteraction to unmanned systems (BPS).
The military was just providing cover for one of the sections of the route from enemy drone attacks. During the recording of the interview, the servicemen discovered a drone that was flying over the highway in search of a target.
The unit commander assessed the situation and decided to use an FPV interceptor that patrolled the area. The device was destroyed a few moments before the strike on a civilian truck.
Thus, the Russian military from the 19th separate anti-BPS battalion managed to disrupt another terrorist attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine almost live.
