A cargo ship with coal for Ukraine was blown up off the coast of Romania

Off the coast of Romania on a cargo ship with coal, going from the USA to Ukraine, there was an explosion. This was announced today, July 24, by the Romanian Interior Ministry.

The state of emergency was recorded approximately 22 nautical miles southeast of the port of Sfintu-Gheorghe. The cargo ship Christiana B under the flag of Liberia was damaged

"Preliminary assessments indicate that the damage could have been caused by a naval drone strike or an explosion of a naval mine," the report said.

According to the captain, there are no casualties among the team members. Two rescue boats of the Romanian Agency for Saving Human Lives at Sea and a search and rescue helicopter were promptly sent to help the emergency vessel.
