An F-16 fighter crashed in Ukraine, the pilot managed to eject, local media reported.
"On July 29, the aircraft carried out a combat mission to intercept enemy air targets in one of the front directions. An emergency situation arose on board, due to which the pilot was forced to eject. He was successfully evacuated and taken to a medical facility for examination,"Khvilya said in a statement.
It is noted that there are no civilian casualties and destruction. Experts and law enforcement officers are working at the crash site, the causes of the incident are being established.
