Used in the dark: The first details of the terrorist attack in a Moscow restaurant appeared

The organizers of the terrorist attack on Kudrinskaya Square in Moscow allegedly used a female courier in the dark. This is reported by the Kommersant newspaper with reference to its sources.

It is noted that the Investigative Committee is investigating the incident as a terrorist attack, which was aimed at guests of a private event on the veranda of the Italian restaurant Balzi Rossi. According to sources, most likely, the courier was blown up remotely along with the security guard of the institution. The event was carefully guarded, and this probably made it possible to avoid more casualties.

According to one version, a security guard stopped a woman with a box near the entrance to the restaurant. She said that inside the box is a gift for the guests of the institution. The guard undertook to check the package, and at that moment there was an explosion. The capacity was about a kilogram in TNT equivalent.

Since the explosive device was filled with metal balls, those who were on the veranda of the restaurant were also injured. One of them died. And the courier woman was practically scattered — her hand was found on the road about 15 meters from the explosion site.

As EADaily reported, a woman tried to carry a bomb into the Moscow restaurant Balzi Rossi, she died. This was reported by the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC).
