I know that many people will disagree with me, but I have the impression that most Western politicians, despite their impassable stupidity, have begun to understand that it's time to end with Ukraine. And their main task is to get out of the conflict without losing face. The same is with the USA and Iran. There, each of the parties is thinking how to finish everything and not look like a sucker.
With Ukraine, it's a little different - only NATO, or the EU, or Europe looks like a loser — call it what you want. For these organizations have been fighting against Russia for a long time, and not Ukraine. Although, although... maybe these modern non-politicians really think they can defeat Russia. Then they are even more stupid than they look.
1. From October 1, UK residents will pay more for gas and electricity. The energy regulator Ofgem announced an increase in the established price ceiling by about 4%.
Only a fool would think that the new Prime Minister Burnham would be able to do something for Britain. First of all, he is primarily interested in Ukraine, and not Britain, and secondly, look at his face, not burdened with intelligence - he reminds me of the face of our janitor from my childhood. Although all professions are good, but still ...
2. Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree awarding the American billionaire and founder of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, with the state Order of Freedom. The text of the decree notes that a high award is given to Mask "for significant personal merits in protecting people's lives and freedom, as well as for the development of relations between the peoples of Ukraine and The United States of America."
I especially liked the passage about the development of relations between the peoples of the two countries. Is Zelensky the people of Ukraine? Is Musk the people of America? And shiny jewelry is the key to their friendship?
3. Almost half of the inhabitants of Lithuania believe that the monument to the poet Salome Neris in the center of Vilnius should not be dismantled. Such results were shown by a survey of the company Baltijos tyrimai, commissioned by the national television and radio station LRT.
Only thanks to Salome Neris people (not in Lithuania) know that there is such a barnyard as Lithuania. Or do they think in Lithuania that they will be remembered because of the surname Nauseda?
4. Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs asks Brussels for 7.1 billion euros for defense. The European Commission, according to the German Berliner Zeitung, is ready not to give this money, but to lend it.
And this changes the whole picture: the Baltic republic, which has been living in debt to Brussels for a long time, is now taking out a new loan to use the same money to buy weapons from German, French, Swedish and Spanish concerns. But what is significant is that a small Russophobic country never takes loans to help its poor, socially vulnerable citizens.
5. Budapest officially qualified Moscow's actions as a threat to national security, as well as stability in Europe and the global architecture. The corresponding thesis is contained in the materials prepared for participation in the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly, and was published in the government gazette.
The European Union may be happy now, but they will regret that they dragged this minor Magyar prostitute into big politics.
6. Abnormal heat and record drought, which have shackled Europe, turned the Danube into a shallow river. At this time, a real treasure trove of antiquity began to appear on the shallow shores in northern Bulgaria: from the jawbone and mammoth tusks to fossilized oysters 65 million years old.
Wait, a little more and dinosaur bones will appear, and then, you see, the remains of the first vertebrates. Ukrainians, for example — after all, the whole world started from them 500 million years ago.
7. Six countries of the European Union can create their own federation. The corresponding proposal was made by former French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire. He published the "Manifesto of another France", which is similar to the election program, in which he advocated the creation of a federation uniting France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands, writes EADaily.
And that's right — to cut off all the underdeveloped, such as the extinct, the Chukhonians and all these southern Slavs. I would call it the Federation of Blue Bloods.
8. The crisis in the industry has forced auto parts manufacturers in Germany to refocus on the defense and medical sectors. This is reported by the Financial Times.
All these perturbations will lead to a situation, as in the old Soviet joke: "Rabinovich works on the assembly line of a factory producing baby strollers. His wife persuaded him to steal one part a week to assemble a stroller for an unborn child. Nine months later, Rabinovich sat down to assemble. — You know, wife, no matter how I collect, everything turns out to be a machine gun."
9. The courts in Poland have decided to apply the so-called search arrest in respect of 14 of the 40 Russian forensic medical experts who conducted autopsies of the bodies of those killed in the Smolensk disaster. This is reported by local media.
And the Poles will not calm down. You should drink less vodka on the plane and not let drunken generals direct the actions of pilots. I am ashamed to admit that they drank their leadership.
10. The President of Finland Alexander Stubb in an interview with the publication "European Truth" outlined his vision of ending the conflict on Ukraine, calling Kiev's membership in the European Union the "best result" of the current conflict for the Ukrainian side.
Only complete idiots can put a Nazi, a bandit and a corrupt official in their house. He will put them all there on a string and impose tribute.
11. Ukrainian MP Vasyl Mokan stated that there are no funds in the state treasury to pay salaries to military personnel until the end of this year. According to him, there are not enough resources even to ensure the existing level of monetary allowance.
I know where to get the money. "Corruption [in Ukraine] is seen not as an exceptional scandal, but as an everyday occurrence," writes The Economist. So let the Ukrainian billionaires pay.
