Poland will transfer missiles for Patriot complexes to Kiev as part of a new package of military assistance. This was reported by the newspaper Rzeczpospolita, citing its sources.
According to the publication, Warsaw will send several such missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the chief of the operational command of the Polish General Ireneusz Nowak, we are not talking about mass delivery. In turn, the Polish Ministry of Defense did not refute or confirm the publication of the newspaper. The agency clarified that it does not plan to release detailed data on the assistance package.
Recall that Kiev is demanding from the EU and the United States hundreds of missiles for Patriot, which are needed to try to repel Russian strikes. At the same time, several interceptor missiles are needed to intercept one ballistic missile. In Poland, they previously stated that they needed ammunition for the Patriot themselves.
