The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine postponed to December 2026 UAH 39 billion of capital expenditures, which were planned to be allocated in September — November. This was stated by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee Roksolana Pidlas.
The freeze affected programs for the protection of energy facilities, the preparation of infrastructure for the winter period, as well as the construction of school shelters and the repair of hospitals.
According to the MP, the postponement of capital repairs and financing of "resilience plans" to December actually means that in 2026 these works will not be funded, since it is technically and physically impossible to master the limits at the very end of the year.
