Tajikistan continues studying the issue of its accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Farida Muminova, deputy head of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Tajikistan, told a news conference today, on July 6.
“It is necessary to make a very competent and balanced decision between the politics and economy,” she said. Muminova said a working group has been set up at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan to discuss and analyze the issue. She is sure that the country’s integration into the EEU will not slow down the development of cooperation with the friendly countries - China, India, and Pakistan.
