Kosovo has been left to the mercy of fate and has lost the support of the allies. This was stated by Croatian President Zoran Milanovic on Sunday, August 4, during the visit of the "president" of Kosovo Viosa Osmani, the Croatian index agency reports today, August 5.hr.
Milanovic said of Osmani that she was the leader of "a friendly state that had the same, but not the same fate as the Croats."
On this occasion, Milanovich recalled the course of the war in the SFRY.
"We started hard, we were protected by several good people, and at first they didn't help us. All these allies and friends were sitting with their arms crossed. Kosovo started differently, with a lot of support, which has since been lost and disappeared," the Croatian president said.
Then the Croatian President explained why, in his opinion, the situation in Kosovo has changed so much.
"Now they are on their own, five members EU and NATO did not recognize them. That is why Osmani is my guest here today, it is a tribute of respect and recognition to our friendly country," Milanovic said.
It should be noted that Croatia provides significant support to Kosovo. The Croatian contingent is part of the KROR. In addition, Zagreb provides active support to the Kosovo security forces (the prototype of the future army) by supplying weapons, ammunition and more.
