The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine announced the filing of a lawsuit in The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court on the application of sanctions to the singer Taisiya Povaliy. It is not only about the confiscation of the artist's property, but also the deprivation of the rights to the songs.
"The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has declared for collection the property that T. M. Povaliy owns directly and indirectly (through individuals)," the agency said in a statement on its portal.
The Ministry included in the list for withdrawal: seven land plots, a house and a household; two cars; a device for shooting cartridges — four units; and "property rights to music and words to a work (8 musical works)".
As EADaily reported, in February of this year, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine charged Povaliy in absentia with supporting Russia. It is emphasized that in her interviews the artist says that she is in Russia, because it is "true there", "Ukraine is zombified", in Ukraine it "faced Nazism".
The SBU stressed that, in addition to obtaining Russian citizenship, the actress in one of the interviews spoke positively about Russian President Vladimir Putin "and called for the seizure of the entire territory of Ukraine."
